Who Is This Woman?: The Irate Citibank Client
Blogger’s Note: I followed suit in removing the YouTube link to the infamous audio clip pertaining to the, well, you know, the irate citibank client. Other bloggers have removed the audio clip as well.
Update # 3:
This Irate Citibank Caller has already penetrated even the Youtube. Mura galore??? Hahaha…
Well, this irate woman is getting more notorious over the internet as the days pass by.
Update # 2:
This is the comment I left sa reynaelena.com.
Naasar na din ako sa babaeng ito who insulted my country and my fellow filipinos:
Mother highness,
Let me say this IN FACE SA GAGANG CITIBANK CALLER NA ITO:
Pinakinggan ko ng ilang beses ang audio na ito. I want to lay out my points in this clip:
Para sa gagang irate na Citibank client:
1. Kung naka-offline ang ATM machine mo at di ka maka-withdraw sa kahit saang ATM, why you did not go to a nearest Citibank branch to make an over the counter transaction at ireport ang nangyari sa iyo.
2. If you are calling Citibank US, hindi ka talaga makokonek ng call center for Citibank Pinas dahil even if they are under the same umbrella, they are still 2 separate entities – they are doing separate transactions dahil hindi saklaw ng Citibank Pinas ang account mo sa Citibank US.
Dapat before you left you motherfucking ramshackle sa US, nag-arrange ka na for your financial transactions para di ka ma-hassle.
3. Wag kang palaasa sa ATM. GAGA. Magdala ka ng cash.
5. Alam mo ba ang phone courtesy or phone etiquette?
And I bet, kasama ka na dun. Kwidaw kang dumayo dito sa baryo namin. If I found out who you are, sa ngalan ng Pinas at mga Pilipinong ininsulto mo: kakalbuhin kita at ipapakain sa mga fire ants…har!
You blame the Lehman Brothers, AIG and all those corporate pigs na gahaman. Sila ang nagumpisa ng krisis na ito. Dont blame the Pinas.
On further note, despite the juvenile hypertension na naranasan ko nung narinig ko ang clip na ito, I suspect na this woman e malamang na merong bipolar disorder. Ewan ha. Kasi I kept on listening on the clip and she kept on mumbling non-sense at non-related things.
But if the woman is normal naman and she did this. Well, *cuss word alert* PUTANG INA MO RIN.
Pwe!

Update # 1:
I spotted Reyna Elena’s comment on Captain’s Log. This could be a helpful explanation to this matter:
Ok. First – that call center guy, he handled it pretty well. Obvious.
Second – in fairness to the irate lady, if this call is true, this must have happened during the terrible bankruptcies here sa US – but then again, this caller is from the Philippines so di ko alam kung matindi ang drama nang Citibank in the Philippines yet I did no hear anything though, o baka naman lumagpas sa pandinig ko. Yet, 13k is 13k at mahirap hanapin yon so, in some ways i can relate to the caller’s frustration = howevah! leche that’s no reason in the world to act like that at all hahahaha
——————————————
To Reyna Elena,
Mother highness, you got it dead on. Hahah.
I am still wondering who’s this fu**ing woman, if this call is for real or just a hoax. Gusto ko siyang sabunutan. Har!

A warning:
This audio file is not for the wimps and for the faint of heart. The audio file is filled with curses in Filipino.
I cant embed the player, so go to this link:

I dont know if this caller really did this for real or this call is for real or what. I mean its recorded but we cant identify who is this fucking woman is. And please someone out there, verify this phonecall and make a research for this woman. So that we can teach this woman a lesson. A lesson in proper phone call etiqutte.
If this woman exists for real, I want to ask her these:
1. What’s your freaking problem and why you are bashing the Philippines in a phonecall?
2. Are you crazy? Citi Manila and Citi USA are not connected. As far as I know, even if they are under the same umbrella, they are still two separate entities.
Here is a helpful comment from a forum I visited:
(1) walang link talaga “directly” ang citi manila and citi usa. so really she can’t ask the citi manila CSR to transfer the call to citi usa.
(2) i think what she meant by 13k is 13k USD.
(3) citibank us has customer protection that allows 2k spending limit per day online or over cirrus/international ATM.
so kung nagamazon ka and/or nag over atm while travelling, keep in mind 2k limit kada araw (that’s US day not where you are, kung sa atin, the day starts around 4pm to next day 4pm kasi midnight central to midnight central).
i think (not too sure about this) the whole weekend is considered a single US day.
I dont know what the real score behind here but I am leaving this record for your judgment. Hay, sakit sa tenga pakinggan…LOL
Now, I know ang hirap ng mga nasa call centers. Maybe next time when I call a number leading to a call center, wherever it is, I’ll treat them with more respect than this irate client lacked.
Kudos to the call center guy. You have a lot of patience! Phew!

As a technical support agent I have received such calls and believe me, you want to kill those callers na akala nila ang gagaling nila eh sila naman may kelangan sa amin. What can we do is to help them the best as we can, pero in the end wala rin silang magagawa kung hindi either ibaba nila ang phone o ipagpatuloy ang troubleshooting.”
I decided to cut listening on the audio or else my ears will starte bleeding again…hay, kung sinisisi niya ang ‘Pinas eh bakit pa siya nandito. Putang ina rin niya! Sandamakmak siyang kabastos at walang modo! Siya lang ba may pera! Isaksak niya yung CC niya sa dibdib niya at baka may makuha pa siyang pera sa katawan niya!”
Thanks for giving me chance on reacting to this topic.

since she said that her passport was taken from her, and that she couldn’t withdraw from her US citibank account, i’m guessing that the US government froze her assets, possibly because of a pending court case. her passport was taken from her to prevent her from leaving the philippines.
wife of corrupt philippine politician or military officer? or maybe one of the pyramid scam queens who hid in the US?

i heard this audio clips.
all i can say is, yung CSR, tunay. yung irate caller, recorded.
well sana ganun nga.
tsk tsk tsk..

That was a stupid woman. It happens a lot even in the US that one is unable to withdraw money from ATM. And that is for a very few reasons. You did not punch you PIN correctly, one main reason: two; there is a limit per day on how much you can withdraw; three, your identity has been stolen, somebody had already withdrawn all of your money, and therefore you have no more money in your account.
You call the bank and tell your problem so they can look as to what happen to your account. You have to provide your identity and other information to prove you have an account, and once it has proven you have an account and you still have money in your account, you will be given a temporary PIN which you need to change later to protect your account.
In other words THIS IRATE WOMAN IS SO STUPID she thinks cursing the whole country where she came from is going to solve her problem.
Good thing her identity has not been established yet so far. If I am that woman and somebody recognizes me on that video, I will head quickly back to the USA and have a plastic surgery to change my look. I would not be able to show my face again if I was that woman, unless I am truly insane and have no shame.

Hehe…
Kudos to him!
And to the woman,
Well, she’s worse than my dog. My dog, Bruce, barks a lot. But this woman barks more than my dog! Haha..
She really irritates my nerves.
Thanks for visiting my blog

ae58,
We would never know. Actually, the soundcloud audio and the video in Youtube are actually being taken down – last February 18. There have been some developments so I may ask some of my blog friends.
The point is, if she has encountered this kind of problems, why she resorted to bashing the whole Philippines and Filipinos, just because she cant withdraw her money from her account. I do not approve of her cuss word galore and bitching and still, she is way down below our belts. We all encounter problems in bank transactions and yet, most of us dont resort to this kind of drama. We may complain to the bank manager but we dont bash our whole country as well.
Its the typical insect-at-the-back-of-the-carabao syndrome.
