For our part, [...]

Tide and Shore’s Affair

Posted by Silver on Sep 24, 2009 in Life's musings

Share

A soothing sound with an ambiguous roar
Calm yet dashing
Soft but forceful
The tides, I do adore.
Always longing for the shore
Home to its heart
The tides shall never rest
Until it conquers the sands.
The coast, always aware
Always waiting for tide’s sudden gush
Excited of its coming
Waiting for its embrace.
The tide kisses the sand each time they meet
And each time they [...]

A Ghost Story

Posted by Silver on Sep 23, 2009 in Scary Moments of My Life!!!

I just encountered some sort of a hair-raising moment during my nightly working hours. Usually, I write at night or fix my other take home assignments at midmorning. I find the unholy hours of the midmorning to be a perfect time for me to concentrate – without the nuisance of my noisy neighbors.
Here’s a snippet [...]

Posted by Silver on Sep 21, 2009 in Dare to Ask

This is the newest political buzz here in the Philippines. Both candidates are scions of old and powerful clans here in the country. Noynoy is born from the legacy left behind by the martyrdom of his father and the presidency of his mother. While on the other hand, Mar has his grandfather as one of [...]

Let me ask you a question: Is it ethical to conduct surveillance on a private individual, irregardless if the said exercise is only a training activity for a novice intelligence agent?
IMHO, I think that there is a necessary court order or legal basis in order to conduct surveillance on a private individual. Especially if the [...]
