Magkano Ba Ang Tilapya Ngayon?

I found this horrendous post over at Barrio Siete. Again, its about the tilapia-brained blogger (apparently named as BenK) who started these personal attacks against Reyna Elena and her cohorts in Barrio Siete. Here is the copy of the post that started it all:

What is Wrong With This Guy?

That’s not a rhetorical question, that’s our discussion topic. Although I enjoy racking on Reyna Elena personally (in the same sense that I enjoy all such minor pleasures, like clipping my toenails or feeding my cat), the real point is the poison he, and people like him, inject into the “new media” and the collective consciousness of the human race. The tagline on his main blog, Barrio Siete is:

Imbalanced news. Biased views! Keep Social Climbing Alive!

And he goes on in his “About” page to explain:

What is “Barrio Siete”? This is an alternative collective blog by a group of bloggers who talk the talk, and walk the walk of its target audience — the socio-economic group who do not use pretentious and intellectual language that can not be grasped by ordinary human beings.

This, then, is the concept of public discourse and intellectual exchange of a man who we are informed (by him, repeatedly, an embarassing level of credentialism being one of his many flaws) is a graduate of respectable universities in the U.S., a Certified Public Accountant, and an MBA. Those are not trifling mental disciplines, yet this clown has made a conscious choice to take the low road: sophistry over reason, popularity over accuracy, and when faced with dissent attack the messenger and not the message.

To his credit, it is a formula that is not wholly ineffective: the same sort of schtick has worked well for a long time for Rush Limbaughs and Bill O’Reillys of the world. It’s poisonous because these sorts of minds know better, but they are too lazy and too insecure to take the risk of finding out that they are not the smartest people in their universe, and are quite willing to drag the great unsuspecting mass of the uninformed down with them. And because they are good at doing at least one thing – attracting attention to themselves – the rest of us who do take the risk that we might not know everything and challenge not only our minds but those around us, can’t afford to ignore them (which is what they really deserve) but have to shout back. Tyranny only exists when it is unchallenged.

While it may appear that challenging this particularly tyrant on the same sewer-level he is comfortable living in is beneath someone like me, it has served its purpose. It’s goaded him into responding in kind, which has dramatically increased our traffic (thanks for that, cupcake), which means that we can offer to our growing audience of our Get Real network an invitation to learn something and not be treated like morons by someone who is more interested in letting people know who he is rather than what he thinks.

Just as a final note, in the post prior to this one I was just making a joke with the whole Chippendales thing but as it turns out my random shot-in-the-dark landed right on target, as this picture from his Facebook profile shows:

Isn’t that adorable. I wonder if Shorty got carded before they let him into that club; I think my cat’s taller than he is.

I am wondering why on earth this tilapia blogger came out of nowhere and started attacking Reyna Elena and Barrio Siete? He also came up with the f**king nerve to use a private photo from FB and then plaster it with a cut-out face of Madam Ellen Tordesillas. Tigas ng mukha ng isang ito ah. Nakakapagtaka naman ang isang ito. Di lang ata ito tilapia, UTAK TALANGKA din.

Why do I believe that writer BenK of utak nang tilapia is a paid hack?

Why did I became the subject of personal attack by Utak nang Tilapia writers especially BenK and BongV? Of course, it is solely because I support Noynoy Aquino. I already know BongV, our Florida guy here. But I have got not a slightest clue who BenK is. If it is true, he used to be my neighbor here in Pennsylvania. I just hope he is careful with his personal attacks on me. I am not a Presidential candidate.

My entry today is in response to a barrage of anti-reyna elena/barrio siete by BenK and utak ng tilapia blog dedicated to do a demolition job on me and to anyone who supports the Presidential candidacy of Noynoy Aquino, Barrio Siete included. I’m talking about this one blog – utakngtilapia – which seemed to have been created for just that one purpose. Demolish Reyna Elena & Barrio Siete. As our friend has advised us here:

In all of the discussions, fights, rebuttals in terms of credentials of bloggers are concerned, we’ve all come to a conclusion that generally, the ones who prefers to be anoymous are typically the ones who are most irresponsible and will do anything in the world to exact character assassination. Of course, your credentials are out there for the world to see. Theirs? Hidden between their balls. My search started here:

There you have it gays and gentlemen, ladies and lesbians. Anoynymous writer “BenK” is Benjamin Kritz from Imus, Cavite. According to this blog, he is an American blogger and businessman living in the Philippines. I don’t know if this is the business that he owns in the Philippines. All of these information are readily available on the internet by just a few searches by the way. And our friend here seemed to have populated the internet. I would find this:

Let me clarify this: Not all Barrio Siete people are for Noynoy. I just dont understand why some freaking engkantus appear from nowhere and include us in their Anti-Noynoy propaganda. Again, let me remind you, not all Barrio Siete people are for Noynoy. As an example, MOI is not even rooting for any candidate out there. I am either have not made my mind yet on who’s candidate I will be rooting or possibly, I am too lazy for the upcoming presidential elections.

I am sick of these paid hacks who would like to sell their dignities and philosophies like tilapia fishballs in the bangketa, just to accomplish the dirty deed of demolishing someone or a group, smear this and that, launching personal attacks etc. and voila = PROFIT and bucks into their fucking pockets. Sus maryusep. Santisima! Kung dangal at puri lang pala ang binebenta ng mga tilapya na ito, why not maging prostitute na lang kaya sila? (Damn, cant imagine a tilapia turned into a prostitute… *scratches head*)

Hay naku, galing nyo magparatang ng kung ano anong ARGUMENTO DE TARANTADO sa ibang tao, kayo din pala, mas malala ang tililing nyo sa utak.
